SPECTACULAR SPORTS.
CADETS AND IXTER-HOtTSE GIRLS. In conjunction with the Girls' InterHouse Association, the Auckland Military Sports Association has arranged for a tabloid athletic sports meeting and an InterHouse display at Car law Park on Saturday. Twenty-six artisan cadet companies have entered teams, the foundation of the programme being the promotion of the team spirit. In five-mile marathon, relay races, and rope climbing the chief honours will go to the team with the best aggregate, though there are also individual honours and also individual competitions, such as races over 75 yards. 100 yards and halfmile. Pushball competitons and a vaulting horse display by the boys, added to the massed drill and the march of the girls' brigade by the Inter-House girls will be siieclal features of the afternoon. The Itirls will add several Individual competitions, and two military bands will be In attendance.
