BURGLARY IN RAETIHI.
DRAPERY STORE ROBBED. EXPERIENCED MEX AT WORK. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) RAETIHI, this day. Mr. John Lugton's drapery establishment in Seddon Street, was broken into early 011 Sunday morning. The burglars gained entry by a window at the back of the premises, and it is believed they were experienced men. as the windows were iron barred, and only a small aperture was left. The burglary was discovered yesterdav afternoon, when the owner had occasion to go to the shop. .' The police were informed and an examination was made of certain clues left by the burglars. A considerable quantity of goods" is missing. but an estimate of the value is not available at present.
