RULE NISI GRANTED
SYDNEY, October 17.
The three brothers, Herbert, William and Bruce Higgs, who were charged in connection with the death of Mr. Ronald L. Leslie, grazier, of Manly, who was found shot in his motor car on a country road, have applied to a judge sitting in Chambers for a rule nisi for a writ of attachment against Robert Clyde Packer, printer and publisher of the "Daily Guardian" newspaper. Applicants allege that since they have been arrested respondent published pictures and letterpress which, applicants contended, will seriously prejudice them if they are committed for trial.
A rule nisi, returnable on Monday, was granted.
