The next overseas steamer to arrive at Auckland will be the Mesopotamia, which is expected to make port at 7 tonight. She is bringing a sugar cargo from Java. The Mataroa, which is coming from the South to complete homeward loading, is now due ou Friday morning, several days ahead of schedule, while the Hinemoa, from Norfolk Island, is also expected on that date. On Sunday the Tremeadow is expected to arrive from New York.

UNION CO.S STEAMERS. The Waimea is to sail at 4 p.m. to-day for Gisborne and Napier. The Wingatui left Dunedin at 4.30 p.m. yesterday for Auckland, via Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington. The Kamona is expected to leave Greymouth at 4 p.m. to-day for Auckland. The Waipiata was unable to complete cargo operations last evening, and her departure for Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaru has been postponed until 5 p.m. to-day. The Katoa is to load at Picton to-morrow. She will fill up at Lyttelton and is expected to leave there on Saturday next for Auckland. . . The Kanna Is expected to arrive at daybreak to-morrow from Greymouth. Te l discharge she is to go to Portland and thence to Noumea and Walpole Island. The Kaiapoi is to sail at 5 p.m. to-day for Wellington and Lyttelton. The Kaitangata is to sail at 5 p.m. tomorrow for Greymouth, where she is to load for Napier and Auckland. The Kaimanawa arrived from New Flymouth yesterday afternoon, berthing at the Prince's wharf. She is to sad at 9 p.m. to-day for Portland and Westport.

The Richardson steamer 3ta«to was dispatched for the East Coast at 4 p.m. yesterday. The Gnnbar, which is to lie up for overhaul, is not now expected to arrive from the East Coast until Thursday. Discharge of her phosphate cargo at the kKing's wharf completed, the steamer Epsom SSs to go to an anchorage in the stream tomorrow morning. She is to await orders. Cabled news received by the New Zealand Shipping Company states that the linei Remuera, which arrived at Colon on rrioaj afternoon, sailed from Panama on feunaa.i morning. The Remuera is bound from London and Southampton to Wellington and South Island ports. She is due at Wei h lington about November 5.

THE HINEMOA. Returning to Auckland, the Government steamer Hinemoa is expected to leave Norfolk Island this evening. She is due here on Friday, and is to sail for Niue Island at noon on Saturday. (Spedding, Ltd., agents.)

THE KEKERANGU. Advice received by the Union Company says that tbe Kekerangu is to commence loading at South Australian ports about October for Dunedin, Lyttelton, Wellington, Oastlecliff, New l'lymouth, Portland, and Auckland.

THE CANADIAN PIONEER. Information that the steamer Canadian Pioneer, bound from Montreal to Auckland, passed through the Panama Canal on October IU, has been received by the Canadian Government agency. She isdue here about November 10.

MESOPOTAMIA TO-NIGHT. Bringing a cargo of raw sugar from Java. the steamer Mesopotamia is expected to arrive at Auckland at 7 o'clock tonight. To-morrow morning she will berth at Chelsea. Spedding, Ltd., are the local agents.

PORT CURTIS COMING. Loaded with case oil and general cargo, the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Curtis sailed from Xew York for Auckland qn Saturday, according to cabled advice. She is due here about November 20.

MATAKANA LEFT LONDON. It is reported by cable that the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Matakana sailed from London on Saturday for Auckland. Her other New Zealand ports of discharge are Wellington and New Plymouth.

ULIMAROA AT WELLINGTON. With passengers, mail and cargo, the Iluddart Parker steimer Ulimaroa arrived at Wellington from Sydney this morning. She is to leave Wellington on her return trip on Friday. There will be no passenger steamer leaving Auckland for Sydney this week.

PHOSPHATE FROM HOLLAND. After a voyage of 12,704 nautical miles, the steamer Grangepark arrived at Bluff from Pernis, near Rotterdam, last week She brought a cargo of 6200 tons of superphosphate. The vessel sailed on August 15, and accomplished a non-stop run of 56 days The superphosphate brought by the park is imported into Holland, where it is chemically treated before being exported to other countries.

MARAMA FROM SYDNEY. A cablegram from Sydney reports the arrival there this morning of the Union Co.'s passenger steamer Marama from Auckland. Her nest trip will be made to Wellington, where she is due on Tuesday. The Maheno was due at Sydney from Wellington this morning. She is to leave there for Auckland, where she is due on Tuesday next.

OMAN A IN PORT. On arrival from Australian ports yesterday afternoon, the Lamb steamer Omana berthed at the King's wharf. The vessel, which experienced an uneventful voyage, brought coal and poles from Port Stevens, Sydney, and Newcastle. To-morrow evening the Omana is to sail for Tauranga, Gisborne. and Napier. Thence she will return to Auckland to complete discharge and to commence loading timber for Australia. The Northern Company are the local agents.

MATAROA AHEAD OF SCHEDULE. Two days ahead of schedule, the Shaw, Savill and Albion Line steamer Mataroa is now expected to arrive at Auckland from Napier on Friday morning. She ig to leave Napier to-morrow evening. The Mataroa, which is coming to this port to complete Homeward loading, is scheduled to leave Auckland with passengers, mail and cargo at daybreak on October 29 for Southampton and London, via Panama.
