OUTER-SUBURBAN AFFAIRS.
Outer suburban tennis clubs in Auckland held a meeting last evening to discuss the question of inter-club competitions. Messrs. E. Hickson. president,, and L. ,W. Swan, secretary of the Auckland Lawn Tennis Association, were present. Mr. Hickson, who was elected chairman, said the Auckland Association wished to do all it could to encourage tennis in outer suburban areas. After a full discussion it was decided to play A and B grades, the A grade teams ;2 c 2, Dßist of f°ur men and four ladies, and «»e B grade teams of six men and six ladies. *aca team will play every other team. m-«.
