OUTER-SUBURBAN AFFAIRS.

Outer suburban tennis clubs in Auckland held a meeting last evening to discuss the question of inter-club competitions. Messrs. E. Hickson. president,, and L. ,W. Swan, secretary of the Auckland Lawn Tennis Association, were present. Mr. Hickson, who was elected chairman, said the Auckland Association wished to do all it could to encourage tennis in outer suburban areas.
