HOPEFUL INDICATIONS
The New Zealand Dairy Produce Board has received the following report from its London agency, dated October 14:— Butter.—New Zealand, salted, 174/ to 1/8/ per cwt; unsalted, 184/ to 188/. Market very slow, but indication* market turning. Australian finest salted, 172/ to 176/; unsalted, 178/ to 182/; Argentine finest unsalted, 170/ to 176/; Irish creamery salted, 174/ to 176/; unsalbed, 174/ to 178/; Dutch unsalted, 194/ to 196/; Esthonian ealted, 170/ to 178/; unsalted 174/ to 178/; Siberian, 152/ to 158/; Danish, 192/ to 196/, retail prices unchanged.
Cheese. — New Zealand white and coloured now 103/ after having reached 106/. Market quiet. Canadian finest white and coloured, 104/ to 105/; Australian finest white, 101/ to 102/; coloured, 100/ to 103/; English finest farmers', 126/ to 130/.
