SYDNEY MURDER CASE
Manslaughter Verdict Against Italian. ACCUSED BOUND OVER. SYDNEY, October 4. Tlie Italian, Salvator Scalisi, who ' shot G'armelio Oarachi, a machinist, after a quarrel on September 3, was to-day found guilty of manslaughter. Owing to the provocation he liad received he was bound over to appear for sentence if called upon at any time within three years. The fatal dispute, according to Scalisi. arose over the dead man's jealousy to the accused working too much overtime, Scalisi, whose people in Italy were in straitened circumstances, was working overtime whenever possible in order to aid them. Garachi objected to this, and nfter a quarrel which lasted several days, was shot fiend while at work. Some of Oarachi's fellow employees took him to the hospital, while others held Scalisi, who I'fld a smoking revolver in his hand, until tho police arrived.
