W.A.. who was called "Mother" and "Grandmother" because of her faded white hair, and who darkened it with a simple home-made mixture, recently made the following: statement:— "Why. anyone can do as I did, and throw 10 or ?0 years of age from their appearance. just prepare this simple mixture at Some, which quickly darkens the hair and makes it sort and glossy. To seven (7) ounces of water add toz of Bay Hum. a -io* box or Orlex Compound and }oz of Glycerine. These Ingredients can be purchased at any chemist's at trilling cost, and mixed at bome to save unnecessary expense. Applied to the bair twice a week until the desired shade is obtained. It does not discolour the scalp. Is not sticky or greasy and does not rub off. My friends now call me 'Girl.'".— (Ad.)
