RISING CRUSHED?
Conflicting Reports From Spain. PLOT FORMALLY DENIED. LONDON, October 3. The "Daily Mail" says news of events in Spain is of a conflicting nature. Spanish army officers are believed to have been implicated in the vast revolutionary conspiracy which is said to have been discovered. It is stated that the Spanish Government >has crushed the threatened insurrection.
In Spanish official circles all the reports of the plot are formally denied. Indications of a severe censorship have intensified the position.—(Sydney "Sun.")
