Mysterious Explosion At Toronto. HOUSE WRECKED. —.— t OTTAWA, October 3. A mysterious explosion wrecked a house in Toronto. Mr. George House, his wife and their baby daughter were killed, and four other children and a maid were injured.—(Sydney "Sun.")
SHELL EXPLODES. FRENCH CHAUFFEUR KILLED. PARIS, October 3. A terrible explosion occurred at Vichy,, where a six-inch shell wrecked the house of General military Governor of Strassburg. The general's chauffeur was killed. How the shell came to be in the house is a mystery. The explosion started a fire which burnt the house down.
