SWIMMING.
MOUNT EDEN MEETING. The annual meeting of the Mount Eden Swimming Club was held last evening. Mr. C. R. Surman presiding over an attendance of fifty members. The annual report and balanep-sheet ■were adopted. Officers were elected as follows :—Patron, Mr. E. H. Potter; vice-patrons, Messrs. D. C. Fraser, W. A. Stevenson, Dr. R. H. Walton; president, Mr. G. L. Taylor; vicepresidents. last year's re-elected ; committee, Messrs. R. M. Sheffield, W. S. Adams, C. Witten, H. Hale, L. Smith. G. Fay. R. de Xoree, C. R. Surman, D. Heron, and Miss E. M. Chegwidden; club chairman, Mr. C. R. Surman; hon. secretary and handicapper, Mr. H. Moore; hon. treasurer, Mr. H. Cordes; club captain, Mr. B. de Loree; vice-captain, Mr. G. Fay; junior captain, Mr. C. Brown; delegates to Auckland Centre, Messrs. W. Adams, R. M. Sheffield, and H. Moore.
