NGARUAWAHIA CLUB.
(By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) NGARUAWAHIA, Monday. At the opening of the Ngaruawahia Bowling Club's green the president, Mr. R. M. McFarlane, declared the green open, and Mrs. Rogers rolled the first bowl. Nine rinks engaged in play.
During the afternoon the former president, Mr. Warburton, presented to the winners of the club fours the shield upon which their names were inscribed. Medals for the president's pairs were presented to the winners. Mr. R. M. McFarlane and Mr. Rimmer. Nearly 30 new members have enrolled.
