THE WAXUKU HOSPITAL.
PATTERN FOB THE WORLD. When Mr. W. Wallace, the chairman of the Hospital Board, with Miss Taylor (superintendent of the public hospital) and another member of the board, paid an official visit to the Franklin Memorial Hospital at Waiuku this week, there were a number of patients in the institution, and in addition there were five babies. In the room was one of the latest baby-weighing machines, and the nurses were proud to tell of the weights of the Franklin babies, which were stated to be above the average. The name of each baby was placed at the head of Che cot, so there was no chance of any confusion in that regard. ... .
