SENSATIONAL ACCIDENT AT WHAU BRIDGE.—A taxi containing two passengers crashed through the wooden railing of the bridge at Avondale last evening mud dived into the mud twenty feet below. The tide was oat, a fact which contributed to the remarkable escape of the occupants, who sustained only minor injuries.
