HARDING SHIELD.
RETAINED BY NORTHERN WAIROA. (By Telegraph—Own Correspondent) DARGAVILLE, this day. The Rodney representative footballers, who were to play against Northern Wairoa •or the Harding Shield, have forfeited the match, which was to have been the last match of the season. - a Northern. Wairoa have won the shield two years in succession, and are also champions of North Auckland. The Costello Shield matches will be continued on Saturday, when Dargaville wiU play Pukebnia.
