Performances of the Auckland Rugby team this season ore excellent. They have played eight matches and won the lot. The record is:—

v. Thames, -won, 47 to 3. t. Maoris, won, 31 to 6. v. North Auckland, won, 21 to 3. v. South Canterbury, won, 32 to 6. v. Taranaki; won, 23 to 0. v. Manawhenua, won, 17 to 0. v. Hawke's Bay, won, 26 to 0. v. Wairarapa, won, 12 to 3. Points for, 209; against, 21. Fifty-one tries have been scored, of which 20 have been converted, whale four penalty goals have been kicked and one goal has been potted from the field. Thirty-six tries have been scored by the 'backs and 15 toy the forwards. Auckland has had its line crossed only four times.
