W.E.A. CLASSES.
MR. N. M. RICHMOND, DIRECTOR. Mr. N. M. Richmond, 8.A., has been appointed director of W.E.A. tutorial classes in Auckland to succeed Mr. L. A. Marid'er, M.A., who has accepted a post* tion at the University of Washington. In making the appointment.last evening, the. University College Council decided that it should take effect from next January. Mr. Richmond, son of the late Professor M. W. Richmond, of Victoria College, is Mr. Mender's assistant. He was educated at Wellington and Nelson colleges and graduated B,A. at Canterbury College in 1018; He enlisted in 1917 and served later with the Army of Occupation in Germany... He was awarded a Rhodes scholarship in 1919. Upon hie return' to "New Zealand he-was a secondary, schoolmaster until taking up his appointment, in 1925; with the Workers' Educational Association in Auckland. ;..••.
