IN SOMERSET MATCH. N.Z. Out For 150 And County 110 For Eight. WICKET PUZSLES BATSMEN. (By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.) LOXDOX, August 7. The Xew Zealand cricketers yesterday commenced a match against Somerset at Weston-super-Mare. There was a large attendance. The visitors, who Avon the toss, started badly. They lost Dempster at nine, Page at 10 and Mills with 30 scored. Lowry and Blunt raided the score to f>4 before lunch. Altogether these two added 43 in 85 minute*. Blunt hit six fours.
McGiir was well c-uipht at mid-off and half tho wickets were down for 7.3. Da ore hit one out of the ground for six.
Lowry batted quietly, taking 110 minutes to get his 2.">.
Merritt nml Beni.iu added 44 in 35 minute*, but the Xew Zcahuulers were out for the lowest score of the tour.
Appnrpntly tho wicket had been watered too freely, for Somerset fared even worse. They started by losing three wickets for three runs. ' Bernau puzzk'd the batsmen.
