Meeting Decides To Continue
Operations.

BRISBANE, August 3.
At a meeting of union delegates. of the Government, and business men of Rockhampton, and *®unt Morgan, proposals for the resumption of work at the Mount Morgan miae were discussed. It was decided that, in the interests of all sections of the community, opera "ioos should be continued as economic ■"> ss possible. The meeting resolved itself into a committee to draft a scheme for the resumption of work, with Government assistance. It is understood that negotiations will be opened with the liquidators of the Mount Morgan Company to ascertain "hat conditions they would be prepared !***' w ' or the taking-over of the mine ** *he works.
