CONVICTED OF FRAUD.
TWO MEX GIYKX HARD LABOUR
Two years' imprisonment with hard labour was the sentence imposed in the Supreme Court to-day upon Cyril Albert Hoskin, convicted 011 ten charges of obtaining money by false pretences. Mr. Justice Herd man said accused had been leniently dealt with in the past, but he had evidently made up his mind to pursue a life of crime. He was again declared an habitual criminal.
A similar sentence was imposed on Basil Tyler, convicted on six charges of false pretences.
