RUGBY FOOTBALL.

FINDING THE CHAMPIONS.

CLASSIFIED CLUB GAMES.

EDEN PARK ATTRACTIONS

The Eden Park attractions to-morrow consist of two senior games in the second round, in which the draw has been re-arranged on the results of the first round, so as to bring the club championship to as early a finality as possible. On this basis the University-Ponsonby match should be one of the keenest games yet played this season, for while Ponsonby have maintained top place throughout the opening round they were beaten by Grafton, who went down last week to University, and now Ponsonby and University are down to play a decision. The students have their side at full strength, and the game on all indications should be a great one. Grammar Old Boys have been improving tbeir position, and they meet Grafton—a match which also should be full of interest and excitement. At the Showground the game will be Marist and College Rifles, which should be another excellent contest, while Shore and Training College will meet at Devonport. Most of the senior B games will be out of town, Marista and Otahuhu playing at Otahuhu, Manukau and Suburbs at Onchunga, and Tramways and Waitemata at Avondale. Ellerslie .will meet Newton at the Showground, and 'Varsitv B will play Technical Old Boys at Victoria Park. Teams: — NORTH SHORE.
