Wonderful Mural Paintings At St. Stephen's. YEARS' WORK. (British Official Wireless.) (Received 1 p.m.) RUGBY, Juiie 28. The Prime Minister (Mr. Stanley Bald*hi) to-day unveiled in St. Stephen's Hall, Westminster, a series of eigh large mural paintings, which constitute th , most extensive scheme of this branch ot art atten-.pted in Great Britain for many decades. The work has engaged, during the last three years, eight leading artists who have worked under the leadership of Sir David Cameron. The paintings represent incidents in British history from the earliest times and are gifts to Parliament from eight members of the House of Lords. The Prime Minister announced that the King had conferred a knighthood ou Mr. George Clausen, of the Academy, as the representative of the artists engaged on the ivork.
