N.Z. CHAMPIONSHIPS. WANG AX 11 I'ROPOS ALS. (By Tcl^fraph.—Special to "Star."") WAXGAXUI, this day. At a meeting of the Wanganui-Tara-naki Centre of the N.Z.A.A.A. it. was decided to recommend that a sports meeting be held in the interests of the Olympic Games fund. In reply to a letter from the Canterbury Centre re the New Zealand championship meeting, it was decided that this centre is in favour of the final of the 100 yard? and mile championships being held at English Park on the Saturday night, but, if possible, the heats of the cycle events" be held previous to Saturday night. The centre decided to support the Otago Centre in its motion, that the Selection Committee should consist of live members, one from each centre.
