EARLY MORNING BANG.
MISHAP AT CITY DESTRUCTOR ONE MAN HURT. An explosion, which resulted in one man having to be taken to the Auckland tlospitaJ, occurred about 8.30 this morning at the City Council's destructor in Patteson Street. Mr. Arthur Woods who was engaged in burning papers at the destructor, was badly burned about the faoe, hands and arms, but after being treated in the casualty ward of the hospital, was abkto go to his home. Mr. Woods, who is a married man. living in Boundary Road, Avondale. was taken to the hospital by the St. John Ambulance.
