FARMER BURNED TO DEATH.
HOUSEKEEPER INJURED. ATTEMPT TO AROUSE EMPLOYER. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, this day. A well-known farmer and sawmiller, Mr. James Lindsay, of Winton, was burned to death this morning. His housekeeper woke to find the dwelling ablaze, and she was severely burnt about the arms in attempting to arouse Lindsay. The house was destroyed.
