UNION SECRETARY ARRESTED.
ON CHARGE OF THEFT.
AMOUNT OF £25 INVOLVED.

BLENHEIM, this day.
David Mann (22), who for the past few months has been secretary of the Marlborough Hotel and Restaurant Workers' Union, -was charged this morning with theft. It was alleged that he converted £25 of union moneys to his own use. He was remanded, in custody, until July 6.
