AGAINST HIS WISH.
MAN ALLOCATED SHARES. CLAIM FOR PAYMENT FAILS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Judgment for the defendant, Thomas Watson, of Okoroire, in a clarm for £160 by the New Zealand Meat Packing and Bacon Company, now in liquidation, in respect of shares allotted, was given to-day by Mr. W. G. Riddell, S.M., After hearing evidence he said it was obviously the intention of defendant to cancel his application and he had notified the canvassers to that effect. If his instructions had been carried out the shares would not have been allotted.
