ON 'CHANGE. A fair amount of business was transacted on 'Change at tie third call yesterday. The 1938 War Loan of 4* per 1 cent., sold at £96 17/6, and the inscribed 5i per cent., 1927-41, changed hands at £9S 10/; Bank of New South Wales shares were placed at £45 7/6, and to- i day there were buyers at 2/6 under { that rate. Sales occurred of Auckland Gas at 23/7, and of New Zealand In- ' surance at 39/9. This morning a tran- 9 saction waj recorded in Hamilton 1 Theatre shares at 20/, and in Kemp- •, thorne Prosser Drug at 64/3. A little business was done in Lucky Shots at 2/2, and Albunias at 4/2. Inquiry was * made at the noon call for Colonial Sugar at £50 15/, and for New Zealand Farmers' Fertiliser, ex div., at 75/. Coal shares arc stil lin good demand at late J rate?.
