POWER DEVELOPMENT.
AMERICA'S HUGE PLAN. NEW YORK, June 12. The Secretary of Commerce, Mr. H. C. Hoover, is supervising the formulation of a superpower plan urder which all the power units throughout the country would be connected by a vast trunk system. It is claimed that under the system the power now wasted would be utilised, which would --esult in saving a huge sum annuallv. The "promoters of the scheme are attempting to overcome the legislation in some States where the plan would not .now be accepted.
