Rumour Busy With Prince of Wak3. BELGIAN PRINCESS AFFIANCED. (Received 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, June 12. Authoritiative circles deny the report circulated in Madrid that the Prince of Wales is affianced to the Spanish Princess Beatrice, eldest daughter of the King and Queen of Spain.
A message to the Copenhagen newspaper "Ensdeabladit" announces that the Danish Crown Prince has been affianced to the Belgian Princess Marie Jose. The Princess Beatrice of Spain is now eighteen years of age. The rumour of the engagement arose in consequence of the recent visit of the Prince of Wales and Prince George to the Spanish Royalties. Princess Marie Jose of Belgium is 21 years of age. Her fiance, the Crown Prince of Denmark, is 28. He is the son of King Christian X. of Denmark, whose mother was a sister of Queen Alexandra of England.
