BURNED TO DEATH.

TENT CATCHUS FIRE. (Received 11 am.) CANBERRA, this day. A fire which occurred in a canvas tent at Northbourne camp, near Ainslie, resulted in two men, Samuel Palmer and Alexander Beveridge, being burned to death. The men had been cooking a meal over a large fire in the tent, and were unable to escape when the structure caught fire.
