AFTER FORTY YEARS' ABSENCE.—Mr. J. K.. Campbell, who returned to Auckland by the Remuera yesterday, with his wife. He was for many years attached to the High Commissioner's Office, London, but retired in 1925. Before her marriage Mrs. Campbell (Madame Emily Hinting) was a well-known vocalist. They intend to spend at least two years in the Dominion.
