CHURCH BUILDING REMOVED.
WHANGEREI, Sunday. The Roman Catholic Church was removed to a new site yesterday morning, the building being drawn by four horses. It will be extended to provide accommodation as a hall. When completed as a two-storeyed structure, it will be used as a temporary place of worship until the new church in Bank Street is completed.
