OUR GROWING CITY.—The City Engineer (Mr. W. E. Bash) sanest* • closer co-operation between the public bodies having authority to open up sheets in order to minimise inconvenience to the public. As an illustration here is some work being carried out by the Power Board at the corner of Karangahape Road and Srmonds Street. Probably the street will be reopened in a week or two for some other purpose.
