A SLIGHT INCREASE.
IX MORRIXSYTLLE RATES. (From Our Own Correspondent.! MORRIXSVILLE. this day. A notice of intention to strike the following rates in accordance with the Finance Committee's report was "iven at the meeting of the Morrinsvillo Borough Council last evening:—General rate of 3d ia the £1. consolidated special rate of 5%d in the £, and an inner area' special rate of l"4d in the £. The general rate is Ud below that struck last year, and the consolidated special rate id above, the inner area rate remaining the same. There is an increase of Md on the total rates. Rateable assessments in the bornur 1 are SSS. The total capital value is £592.533, being £243,405 unimproved and £349,128 improvements. The value of rateable property is £544.708 (capital), including £223,890 unimproved and £320,818 for improvements.
