BUTTER CONTEST.
AUSTRALIA LEADS. (Received 12 noon.) SYDNEY, this day. At the conference of the Co-operative Dairy Factory Managers and Secretaries* Association of New South Wales, an assortment of foreign butters, specially imported for the enlightenment of the delegates, was inspected. Mr. Wigan. senior Federal grader for New South Wales, -djudged a box of Australian butter which was inade in February, and had been in cold store since then, the best., with 94} points. New Zealand and Irish beinj: second with points, and Danish third with It was suggested that the conference ea "i year should hold a butler competition open to all the States and New Zealand.
