TO CLEAN FURS.
To clean dark furs, warm a quantity! of bran in a pan, taking care that it does not burn. When well warmed, rub it thoroughly into the fur with" tha Repeat this two or three times; then •hake the fur and give It a sharp brush, ing until free from dust. When it is to strip the fur articles 'of their stuffing and binding, lay them as M P£ Ml . b1 ®- Then brash with a stiff clothes brush. After tM» any moth-eaten parts may bo cut out! •nd be neatly replaced by new bita fur to match. To clean light fm* ermine, lay the fur on a table and rub it well with dry flour or wifh bran made moist with warm water; rub until qnits dry, and afterwards with dry bran.
