WOMAN PASSENGER INJURED. COURT AWARDS £523 DAMAGES. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. Asserting that she had received injuries through the negligence of the city corporation, as a result of a traincar being suddenly started before she had time to board it, Jane Gifford Laurenson sought to recover as damages from the Wellington City Cor|>oration in the Supreme Court to-day. After hearing evidence* the Chief Justice. Sir Charles Skerrett, gave judgment in favour of plaintiff for £'>Z'>.
