MISSION QUARREL.
Australian Visitors to America Disagree. LABOURITES TBOUBLESOME. WASHINGTON, June 9. The President. Mr: Coolidge, received four of the members of the Australian Industrial Mission. The attitude of Mr. Grayndler is somewhat disquieting to his two colleagues, especially as he will leave for Australia a fortnight before they do and may anticipate their views.
Messrs. Grayndler and Mclnnes gave a remarkable interview to a Washington Labour weekly, in which they lauded the Australian Labour policy and said compulsory arbitration had proved satisfactory. In spite of a resolution " passed by the mission denying that it had any
political motives, Messrs. Munden and Valentine say they were not consulted and they dissociated themselves from the views expressed before the article was published. The members say Mr. Grayndler has made no effort to assist in the preparation of the report.
