TWO MEN REMANDED.
ALLEGED THEFT OF SILK.
Charged with stealing, on May 24 : 40 yards of silk valued at £5 6/S, the property of the Union Steamship Company, John Wallace Thurlow (25) and Lev/is Robert William Knight (25) appeared at the Police Court this morning.
On the application of Chief Detective Cummings the accused were remanded until June 21. Mr. J. J. Sullivan represented bath men. Bail, £50, was allowed in each case.
