In the Police Court to-day, Mr. James Wood (26) pleaded not guilty and was committed for sentence on a charge of breaking and entering and stealing articles from the dwelling house of Herbert Atkinson; accused was seen to leave the house by the wife of the ottner, who informed her husband, and the latter followed accused until, with help, he apprehended him. The Bench commended Mr. Atkinson for the prompt *ay he pursued accused.
