A SHORT ORDER.
POSSESSION OF A TENEMENT
ATTITUDE OF MAGISTRATE
1 "Why are you asking for such a short erder?" queried Mr. E. C. Cutten, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court this morning, when counsel in a tenement case asked for possession within a limited period. Counsel said the woman in the case liad agreed to give up the keys within a few days.
Mr. Cutten said it would bring the Court into disrepute by being too" hard, Unless the circumstances were exceptional. Public resentment would be treated against Court procedure. An order for the possession of the tenement within 14 days was made.
