A.hire was received by the Hamilton Borough Council thi s evening from Minister of Justice that, although the urgency of providing a n.-w courthouse at Hamilton was recognised, the building could not be commenced at the present owing to lack of funds.
Strong dissati«l*tiion was c.\pn>>-ed by members of the council, and on the motion of the Mayor a resolution of protest was carried.
