JUDGE'S STRIKE THREAT.
BETTER PENCILS WANTED. LONDON, May 27. Jndge Crawford yesterday threatened to go on strike. After breaking several pencils he handed the broken stump? to the clerk, remarking disgustedly; "I refuse to take a note of any case unless the Treasury supplies me with better pencils. Such are this country's finances that we are unable to get decent writing materials."
