Christ's College —or, to use ths name t, v which it is better known, the Blip Coat School—ranks high amon ( jst tke historic institutions of England. It wr.s founded in the sixteenth ceutury, In Jfewgate Street, London, and many fameus men spent their boyhood years within its walls. Twenty-five years ago the growth of the city compelled the removal of the school to Horsham, in Suseex, but the old traditions are upheld, and Christ's College continues to send Jier sons to all parts of the world.

A few years ago a Blue Coat Old Boys' club was formed, under the title of the Cordon Bleu, and there are at present (branches in every country where th° flag of Great Britain flies. With headquarters in Auckland, a New Zealand dub came into being a few months ago, and to-day saw the first annual reunion. "Old boys" have assembled from all parts of the North Island, and a muster of 23 includes representatives of Opua, Whangarei, Port Albert, New Plymouth and Tologa B*ar. The Y.M.C.A. building in Wellesley Street is the headquarters for the assembly, and an interesting programme has been arranged for the week-end.

The Rotary Chrb has taken the visitors under its friendly wing, and this mdrning Mr. A. J. Hutchinson (lion, secretary) and several members of the dub ■welcomed those who had come to Auckland for the reunion. After the first gathering, in the Y.M.C.A. building, the old boye drove off in Rotarians' motor cars for a tour of the city and environs, visiting Mount Eden, One Tree JED, and other beauty sports. In the afternoon they played lawn tennis, and this, evening they will b< , fbp o-nests «•' the Rotary Club at the Y.M.C.A., visiting the Majestic Theatre subsequently. To-morrow they -will probably watch the football in Eden Park, and in the evening the annual old boys' dinner will lie held in the Tower Tea Rooms. By invitation of the vicar (the Rev. G. C. Cruiokshank), they will attend divine •errice in St. Mark's Church on Sunday looming.

Mr. A. C. Green, the organising secretary, will be glad to get into touch with told Blue Coat School boys in any part •f New Zealand.
