CHAMBER OF COMMERCE MEETS.
The annual meetin; of the Chamber of Commerce was held laet evening, Mr. A. Duthie presiding. The report and balance sheet were read and adopted. ?£? k"* l, showirj; a credit balance of 19/. The president, in speaking on the report, said the chamber had certainly justified its existence, as, during the put year, the ;oUow;ng improvements had Wn carried out, mainly through its efforts: A new postmaster's residence, continuous telephone service public telephone, extension of the Hich School, improvement to train service, early delivery ot papers. et<-. The election of oficers resulted aa tollowe:— President, Mr. A. Duthie (reelected': vice-presidents. Meesre. Chalmers. Burt and Farreliy: secretary end treasurer. Mr. R. Xaylor: executive committee. Messrs. Swain. Swap. Makg.--- McEvren and Boanor; auditor. Mr. H. B. Armitase. The member*' tubecript:on was increased to 10/ per annum.
