An excitinj; rha*e of an alleged motornil thief took place last night and terminated in his rajitnie and arrest. A tui>>oati-r r«vi<Uter car was stolen in Kilbirnic. ami a friend of the owner saw it lx-iiiL' driven in Caurtcnar Place nt 10.20 j>.m. He followed it in another car till it was half-way up Adelaide Road, whin the fugitive, in endeavouring to ei-cnpe. collided with the pursuing car. He then juni|K>d out and ran away. A crowd joined in the chase, and the man was caught and handed over to the police. Both cars were slightly damaged.
