PICTURES FEEL THE DAMP.—For a long time the Art Gallery authorities in Auckland have been troubled by some of the moat valuable picture* deteriorating. One of the causes was the dampness, and this has just been eliminated by an excellent system of radiators, three of which are here seen in the Mackelvie Gallery.
