PORTSMOUTH'S GUESTS.
FRENCH NAVAL SQUADRON. (British Official' Wireless.) (Received 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, June 1. The Rear-Admiral commanding the French naval squadron, which is visiting Portsmouth, yesterday, laid wreaths on th'c.-city war memorials. Last'night the officers and 400 of the men attended a dinner in the Guildhall. The visitors are very popular with the British naval ratings and the people of Portsmouth, who yesterday visited the French ships in large numbers.
