He'appeared before the A.R.U. executive at-its weekly meeting last night, and w;ae .granted permission to play for Grafton " seniors, having fulfilled the necessary conditions of residence. ,On a report from the Junior Advisory Board that the captain and a player of the Grey Lynn sixth grade team had attended the board meeting as the result of a complaint by a referee, it was decided that both players stand down from this Saturday's play. i The Junior Board also reported that • junior selectors had been appointed as follow. Juniors, Messrs. deal, Corson, Hayhow. Redmond and Hoare; third , intermediate grade. Messrs. Wor&fold, Sly and Taylor. Messrs. Hay how. Owing to its senior fifteen having five players in Australia with the New Zea-1 tend University team, the University Club wrote asking for the extension to June 8 -of the rule regarding senior B players being graded as senior A players after June 1. The application was granted. '. Advice was received from the New Zealand Rugby Union that the following players had been reinstated: A. W. Larking, C. D. Handisides, G. Philp, C. Rewha, E. Harris, G. Robertson, E. J. Crewther, T. D. M. Koran, F. Todd, W. A. Mason, A. R. Jones, J. Wells, H. W. Coop, E. R. Marcroft, F. G. Clarke, J. F. G. Cullender, S. Taylor, W. J. Dean, P. Brady and N. Lipscombe. Tho following reinstatements were recommended to the New Zealand Union; J. Dempsey, R. E. Prendergast, W. Moros. . The Takapuna Club wrote withdrawing its senior B team and applying for the regrading of six players to third grade. It was resolved to suspend the standing orders in order that the six players could be regraded to junior A. It was decided to defer consideration of the Taranaki and North Auckland representative fixtures until June 11. It was, further decided that only senior B grade matches should be played on June 18, the date of the match with the Thames Union representatives. - It was decided to forward a letter to the Auckland Football Association thanking it for its statement that it was. not in any way connected with a controversy regarding the Association and Rugby codes, and to assure the association that any letters in reply had not been countenanced by the Auckland Union.
